Have You Ever Wondered Why Smaller Houses Have A Higher Cost Per Square Foot

Have you ever wondered why smaller houses have a higher cost per square foot? Ask Realtor Mike!

It's pretty simple , if you think about it. Drywall is not very expensive, plumbing and electrical are.  Most homes have one kitchen and a couple restrooms.  This is where a bulk of the costs are.  Adding drywall and more square feet to the home may make the home more comfortable, but the costs are not as great as the "wet" areas.

What about a two story versus a singe story? The same is true here. One foundation, one roof. The middle floor does not create the same cost as both roof and foundation.

If you have any questions you would like answered, send me an email, I look forward to hearing from you.
