Expensive projects include fencing your house, replacing the siding, the addition of a deck and professional landscaping. You can also use various inexpensive tricks to enhance the curb appeal of your home. Here are a few ideas to help you get started.

  • Paint the Exterior

It involves painting the shutters, trims and the external door. Painting the exterior is an inexpensive way to change the appearance of your house.

  • Remove Dead Plants

Landscaping beautifies your house. However, dead plants, overgrown shrubs, and overlooked dark patches can also kill the sale. Remove any dead plants, cut the bushes, plant new grass seeds, and purchase a few colorful plants. Within four weeks, the grass will grow, and your lawn will become green again.

  • Improve the Home Address

The address should be visible to everyone. It is especially important if you are selling the house. Consider replacing the address-plate. Create a home address with plants or metal.

  • Install a New Mailbox

Replace your old mailbox with a new one. It should cost you less than $50.  If the old one is good, repaint it in a contrasting color so that it is visible to your visitors.
